Like every other town in the US, Ventura has many, many neighborhoods. There are, however, general areas that the locals refer to more often. General speaking there is Westside, Downtown, Harbor Villiage, Oceanfront, Midtown, and East Ventura. The map above shows the borders of midtown provided by the Midtown Ventura Community Council.

Mid-town Handyman Special
This is the back area of a home currently listed in mid-town Ventura. The house itself is a lovely handyman special craftsman with a high ceiling basement, and original touches throughout. What makes this home so unique is the property behind the home on which you can build another house. It’s a must see!
Mid-Town Cottage with Pool
My day starts by flicking on my computer and going through the new inventory of houses for sale. If I see something one of my buyers might be interested in, I send along an email, make a phone call or schedule a time to preview the property. (I’ll repeat this obsession of looking about 5-6 times by end of day.)
Emma Avenue – Sold in 6 Days
480 S. Emma Avenue sold at asking price of $369,000, just a few days after coming onto the market.
In getting the home ready for sale, carpets were removed to show off the beautiful wood floors that had been covered and protected for years, windows were washed inside and out, and every surface of the house was scrubbed to give the home that extra sparkle. To neutralize and emphasize the home’s spaciousness, the walls were painted with the perfect light color. The yard was spruced up and flowers added to give that extra curb appeal. The service providers did a wonderful job getting the home ready. (I’d be happy to share their names with you!) The final step was to stage the house to make the home more inviting while buyers toured through.
